R Family Connections Inc.
is a non-profit organization that serves the county of Los Angeles and the State of California. Our program has been designed to assist single parent families, adolescents, elderly, the uneducated and homeless youth, women and men that have been incarcerated or taken away from society due to not having assistance to encourage, nurture and guide into life’s independency. We at R Family Connections Inc. offer several programs including but not limited to: parenting, anger mangement, life skills, employment and career training, internships, homeless and transitional resource referral as well as first-time buyer workshops that will enable them to have a positive entry into society.
We offer juvenile and adult community service as well as parenting class, anger management, sports officiating training, resume preparation, community organization, we have resource referrals for transitional, low income, shelter housing, child care assistance referral and rental property, and finger printing(live scan) and record expungement clinics and assistance including other paralegal preparation/assistance. We also assist with credit awarenes and rebuilding assistance, bankruptcies,child support paper filing etc..
We also offer special Child Programs where we assitance parents with having the proper documents and ID for the unexpected day that we all wish never came.
We assist with referrals to driver’s education and drivers training, reinstatement of driver’s license, first time California driver license and Identification, GED Prep classes, GED testing, FASA (financial aid) application assistance.
This year we will be launching several pilot programs titled: 18 Steps to Blossoming - Diamonds Are Forever, Business Development Pilot Program (BDPP), Start Smart, and The Crew.
These pilot programs were designed to enrich our young generation into educated, self sufficient, responsible, entrepreneurial, independent orientated young adults that will grow with our society as it develops. They will be able to apply what they have learned and share with their peers as they grow.
